Just received my first order from Mike Wang today!
I placed an order for an S. leuco burgundy x minor giant ‘pink clone’ that has been on my want list for a long time. Mike was awesome enough not to cut the pitchers off before shipping and also threw in a massive multi growth point S. leucophylla (Baldwin Co, Alabama) (various clones) rhizome for free.
Mike was quick to respond to my emails and very helpful in helping me choose between two of his gorgeous S. x excellens plants. In fact, I think I'm going to have to order up the other plant that I was trying to decide between.

Amazing plants. I alaways end up going back and buying a clone that I decided not to get.
My first order off the season was in December, I got a S. Rosea liberty co, Fl, S. Flava var. rubricopora bay co, Fl, and a S. Rosea mobile co, Al clone Q. I got a rugelii and a Montana Jackson co, NC as a bonus.
My second order was from my mom for Christmas, it was a rosea mobile co, clone a, clone a x e, and alata stone co, MS clone a. I got a rosea liberty co, Fl division as a bonus.
My dad got me a rosea from mobile co, Al clone n (plus one bonus) and a rubricopora bay co, Fl.
For my birthday this week, my dad ordered me a minor old dock, clone A, and a psitticina variety okee from liberty co, Fl
My final order is being shipped on Monday. It is a psitticina varity okee AF, a flava var. flava snead's ferry, and a oreophila fr clay co, Nc. I can't wait to receive this order.
If you have any doubts, order from mike. His plants are amazing, and are extremely healthy.
After last year's order from Mike went above my expectations, I already placed my order for this year. Just came in the mail today...
Left to Right: S. rosea Mobile Co. AL, clone K (freebie!), S. rosea Liberty Co., FL, S. purpurea ssp. purpurea f. heterophylla, S. alata f. viridescens, Washinton Co. AL.
That S. rosea Liberty Co. FL, isn't messing around. That's the largest rosea pitcher I've ever seen, things the size of my hand. It also already has the start of a flower bud.
All potted up now:
S. rosea, Mobile Co. AL, clone K & S. alata f. viridescens
S. purpurea ssp. purpurea heterphylla & S. rosea Liberty Co. FL
Thanks for sending such gigantic plants. I keep seeing sizes stated as medium or large from other vendors and am always surprised at how large your medium and large sized plants are compared to others! Extra thanks for the bonus rosea. Plants from FL & AL do fantastic here, kinda like being back home!
I just realized I never took and posted photos from my order last year. Everything is dormant and looks that way, so will take photos later in the year when they're looking their best.
goodkoalie I spent too much on the holidays so had to take it easy on this order. However, making another order and getting a clone I decided not to get this time is in the plan for later in the year, so I hear that, lol.

I just finished my order with Mike! It looks like I may be starting another one soon for that S. rosea Liberty Co. FL! That thing is gorgeous!
Do it, do it, do it, do it. I love to collect plants with Florida location data and rosea is my favorite Sarr, so I would've ordered it without having ever seen a picture anyway. SO happy with it, can't wait to see how big it gets this summer here in FL.
There were one or two other I really wanted and will probably have order later in the year too, (when I've got a bit more $ to spend on plants.) So everyone, keep pictures of your incoming Sarrs coming, have to make a good list for later ya know!
calen, that's the sort of thing I like to hear. Do you have different clones to compare? I went to check for pictures to compare and k wasn't even on the sales list. Either way, wooooo! I just like how fatty the pitchers are.

I have Mike's Mobile Co. clones M, P, and K and couple different clones from Bay Co. FL. They are all nice plants, but Clone K has so far been the tubbiest, chunkiest plant of them all and I love that! I posted some early season photos of my K in the above thread, but it got almost grotesquely tubby and thick as the season progressed. It is awesomeness. Will try to get some more pics up in the 2015 grow season.
Haha meizzwang and I were both responding at the same time! Looks like I might have misidentified K in that thread! But yeah they are all super badass plants - it's too bad that flava and leuc get all the attention
DirtyDivisions: summit I’ve been fine at a constant 95° F under the dome. Once the tiny seedlings have two pitchers I remove the dome and temps go down.

summit: @dirtydivisions Thanks for that! I'm sitting around 87-88F with the dome fully sealed but I wasn't doing that and sacrificing humidity to keep it cooler but I'll go ahead and close it down now!

mikee: Thanks you chofah, there is a great video from The Pitcher Project with Phil Faulisi this was what I was looking for. However it still appears to be wait and see what results come from the cross. Many thanks
Apr 21, 2020 3:41:45 GMT -5
Willy: It would be rather silly to expect totally predictable results from a cross. The individual plants grown from the seeds will vary, sometimes quite a bit, even with carefully protected hand pollination. If you open polinate, the variety may be even greater.
