Hi I would like to add that on my newest order I was thinking about eating the wasabi. Also the green giant gulfensis is really fat for such a short plant. My leucopylla alba just sent out a nice new trap that is taller but still not fatter than the green giant. Thanks Mike!
Now for my first order-
S. psittacina okee Santa Rosa Co FL, look at this thing’s fins! Grows faster than Calhoun Co FL:
Now is the larger of the two S. psittacina okees I have. S. psittacina okee Calhoun Co FL; please note it is not full size yet. It grows painfully slowly. Its new pitchers are reddish orange while the Santa Rosa clone has new pitchers that are green. So it would seem that green psittacinas grow faster... to be continued. postimg.cc/sMP96zmb
This was a free plant and has become one of my favorites. It is S. leucopylla alba “Rod’s favorite x dipped lip.” It’s blinding white, literally shining! postimg.cc/N9F6jHtw postimg.cc/94JP2Bvp
The calhoun co psittacina is planted with the leucopylla alba. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Here is a free S. flava cuprea. I’ll have to check on what the exact name of it is, but it looks promising so far. postimg.cc/JHy5PBYQ
I’m glad I was able to get these plants and the free ones. I’m part of seed savers exchange and one of my favorite things is getting extra seeds I didn’t ask for. It is always fun to open up the mail and see what you get because it is a surprise. Maybe I’ll have to place an order with Mike for his “Grower’s choice,” aka he chooses the plants!

stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
