LOL Saturniid Call me crazy, but I sleep well at night knowing that these plants are in many other collections The more we get these plants out there, the better a chance they will continue to exist through time.
Yes, you were close Jonathan-the plant in my avatar is S. x Elaine Wang, a cultivar that still needs to be registered with the ICPS. Arg, still gotta do that....
I would like to praise his business ethic in general......from my dealings he is very professional, excels at followup and delivering a product that you will most certainly be happy with at a VERY good value.
He is helpful enough to help you find what you are looking for even if he doesn't have it in his inventory to ship, a standard that from my experience can only be met by vendors who offer the same services that cost nearly twice as much.
I anticipate mikes plants becoming the majority of my future collection/pride and joy.
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
