I'm a little late but I'll jump on the band wagon too Just received my first order from Mike and all the plants are awesome. My mind hole was blown by the health of their roots and how well he catalogs all his Sarracenia. Because of him I'm becoming a stickler for having location data!
My current grow area is tapped out but after my GH build I'll definitely make my next order through him.
You're welcome Calen-it was great to meet you in person! Oh, is that S. minor var. okefenokeensis clone S? If so, here's the same clone in 2010-it had a 2 foot tall pitcher on it, and was in a 3.25" pot (same size pot as pictured above!!! Definitely one of the best:
I recently got some plants from mike and they look awesome! The Flava ornata 'Improved veins' is spectacular!!! and the Psitt Okee Giant from calhoun Co, has HUGE pitchers for the rhizome size compared to a ' typical' Okee giant.(the rhizome was still pretty big). Everything else arrived in beautiful condition, and I am definitely going to place another order soon.
That's what I did last June, Goodkoalie - pre-ordered a bunch of awesomeness and then picked up the plants from Mike at the BACPS show rather than having them barerooted mid-season. Saved on shipping too Davidgreen - working on my second order too

Yes, getting my thired order in the next few weeks, i got a S. oreophila "alabama" (huge, grew a fall flower after i got it), and got a S. pururea subsp. venosa old dock (big plant, nicely colored), anf also got a S. jonessii "sherdian's clone x AF" as a freebie (in july 2013), Got a S. oreophila "sand hill mt. clone b" (it was bright red, had a nice sized rhizome), a S. purpurea subsp. venosa from burnswick Co XL (biggest purp i have ever seen in my life, looked like a huge head of red and purple cabbage), and a S. purpurea var. montana F2 (colorful cute little purp, will grow into a nice plant in a year or so, it had like 5 growing points), and got a S. psitticnia bay, Co FL(freebie). I got this order in late october. This time, i am ordering a S. alata red clone from Stone Co, MS, a S. minor old dock, a S. flava var. cupurea mcclean SC, and a S. purpurea subsp. venosa from tantchil Ga.
Goodkoalie Re: red cabbage - haha I know exactly what you're talking about - Mike sent me a ziploc o' purps last summer and I was like "what's in here? lettuce?" they were so bushy! hcarlton: let's just say I'm happy I'm not addicted to Nepenthes.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
