The old Dock purps. have an incredible amount of diversity to them. Some plants look like the bulbous Brunswick Co, NC plants, while others are very colorful and have nice contrasting colors.
Clone H is one of the most unique looking plants from this population in the collection. It has a slightly bulbous yet slim-looking trap, and almost reminds me of S. purpurea ssp. purpurea. On the other hand, the dark red veins in the "lid" with the nice contrasting green background seem very "montana"-like. The colors are becoming more pronounced now that we have very cool nights and sunny days. While there are many amazing clones from this population, this individual sticks out to me:

This is a great looking purp that I got as a freebie from Mike this spring! it is very vigorous, and has great shape. the only reason that its not red is that I'm in the process of reorganizing my collection and it has bee getting less than optimal amount of light. when it came:

kayota: how have I only just discovered this forum when I've been raising CPs for 15 years? I'm just getting back into it after accidentally leaving my plants with a crappy roommate and being unable to get them back

summit: Hey guys, I'm about to sow some seeds and I was curious to know what everyone thinks 'too hot' for Sarracenia seeds would be? Having them in the dome bumps up the temps a bit.

DirtyDivisions: summit I’ve been fine at a constant 95° F under the dome. Once the tiny seedlings have two pitchers I remove the dome and temps go down.

summit: @dirtydivisions Thanks for that! I'm sitting around 87-88F with the dome fully sealed but I wasn't doing that and sacrificing humidity to keep it cooler but I'll go ahead and close it down now!
