This is a select seedling from my 2014 cross of cuprea Billy Hoyer x cuprea Lois. It stood out fairly early for producing an exceptionally saturated copper hood and tube with a nice touch of salmon-y orange to it. We'll have to see this year but in past seasons the hood has aged to a legitimate red color as well. Pics taken a couple days ago and actually manage to capture the color fairly well: Untitled by Calen Hall, on Flickr Another shot! Untitled by Calen Hall, on Flickr
Hot damn almightydolla! Its flava var. cupreopurpurea! Insane color! As a seedling under lights years ago, this clone had a distinctive purplish-red lid which was why I originally selected it. Outdoors for me it's a lovely cuprea, but it totally has those red genes in there waiting to come out under the right conditions.

iona: Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had extra Pinguicula grandiflora plants or seeds to spare, and they are so difficult to get in the US but think it’d be a great addition to my big garden.
