A few shots from this past week for y'all! First, the main water table: A flava bouquet! Front row: cuprea BH, rugelii JL403, rubricorpora MWF1. Looming over all of them in the back is a monster gargoyle like cuprea with a gitronic lid I just got at CCs S. x 'Abandoned Hope' looking pretty bomb. 12-16" pitchers 1 year out of TC. Close up. S. montana Transylvania Co. NC F-1 created by you-know-who. I have two of these and this is actually the smaller of the two clumps (you can see the other horning in on the left side of the pic). Just ridiculous vigor.
That's funny. I'm still trying to figure out who outbid me on Wilkerson's White Knight *Eyes dart* But in other news, cooks has Scarlett Belle x Leah's Child listed on the site for $9 or $11. Of course you can't see the exact same plant you are buying.

Here are a few seedling pics. These are various S. flava crosses that germinated in early March. They're growing like weeds and showing a lot of diversity already. That I can't wait to see them grow up pretty much goes without saying. These are cuprea x rubricorpora and are already displaying the "atropurpurea" look that seems to be typical for this cross: These are (ornata x ornata F47MK) and seem to be running the gamut between rubricorpora and lesser veined ornata or even rugelii - won't be able to tell til they're bigger! Here are some wee (cuprea x cuprea Best Clone). They seem to be evenly split between very heavily veined, reddish plants and quite green plants. Is this batch going to be 50% coppery ornata and 50% maxima?? It's like a Punnet Square in a 4'' pot lol
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
