These are S. flava var. rubricorpora I purchased from predatoryplants.com, but I think meizzwang is the original source. I bought them last year at medium size, and I got one flower this year. They're really starting to color up. Thanks, Mike!
Rhizomatous: wow, that L x best clone looks great, and glad to hear you were able to get one to flower already, that was quick! Overall, the rubricorpora crosses have been a great success, and L x best clone had some of the best seedlings I've ever seen.
Believe me, it's painful to pack up such plants and send them off, but it's also very satisfying to see them thriving in other collections.
Had a few things come in recently, can't take credit for the pitchers, but they do look nice. And some more seedlings are gaining size... S. leucophylla Baldwin Co. AL showing some variation in shape already (Ignore the peat fingers, I was potting) S. leuco 'Tarnok' apparently dreams of being a Heliamphora alata rubrioperculata doing well in this low humidity, and new pitchers are forming flava cuprea also holding up very well S. (x courtii x rubra alabamensis) x 'Candy Striper' are also maturing, and a couple really show the courtii influence
Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that do.

This plant has sent up my favorite pitchers of the season so far...S. "Fatty Boom-ba-latty":
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
