I have a large Adrian Slack with 6 growth points....three years later and still hasn't flowered. Is that normal for this clone?
As many crosses as I’ve seen using AS, I’d say no. That’s not normal. I had 4 or 5 divisions crammed in a pot for a couple of years and they all shot up flower stalks two months ago. They were on the schedule to each get their own pots this year so I snapped all of them off. Since I don’t know how you overwinter your plants, I can’t tell you you’re doing anything wrong ... but it seems likely something is amiss.
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
