I grow my plants in the front yard because my backyard is mostly shaded. My collection got big enough that it looked a little crappy. I searched the internet far and wide for ideas, and I ended up building a raised bed. I leveled the ground and put washing machine trays down. If anyone is struggling to figure something out, here ya go. I’m happy with it.
Any idea how well those trays hold up under intense UV? I'm interested in doing something similar, but was considering going with something marketed for Indoor grows because I figured it'd hold up longer outdoors. Currently using (black plastic) mixing troughs from Lowes for a similar purpose, and they're showing some discoloration after a single year outdoors.
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
