I’m happy others are already thinking about donating. We also need to think of an organization where we can donate all the proceeds to. The organization of course would have to be related to conserving Sarracenia in the wild. If the organization does anything with Neps they are automatically disqualified

I'll put the Meadowview hat in the ring as a potential recipient for the spring auction proceeds. We need your and others help to pay the note on the Central VA Preserve, the northern-most native pitcher plant bog in Virginia with a globally rare gravel bog. We owe $42,000 on the note for the 14 acre Wilson tract and the note comes due in full in 2023. We need your help to start paying off this note. The property is permanently protected with a conservation easement and restoration efforts are ongoing.
Need any more details?

stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
