.. Had been at the Pinguicula alpina red location today (burning my body fat!). They are sooo beautiful!
Note the hibernaculum close to the surface. Usually hardy pinguiculas develop the hibernaculum deep in the substrate (protecting against strong frost). This is not possible here because the plants are growing at very small agglomerations of some substrate. I know this location from winter time too. Normally there is a plenty of snow protecting the plants from frost.
I stop writing now, simply enjoy the beautiful plants!
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
