Yea sorry, I got used to shortening the name after talking to different growers on Instagram. I tend to use abbreviations and name-slang when I'm around other growers... I should really work on that. But, as sflguy said, mitch refers to the latin hybrid name Mitchelliana which is a basic hybrid involving purpurea and leucophylla. I think more recent studies classify it as S. rosea x S. leucophylla instead of simply purp x leuco. I feel like I'm saying way more than was needed though...

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
