Ok so i bought my mum an orchid for mothers day a while back and i have moved out now and took it with me as she is no good at looking after thing, such as me haha joking! But seriously ive got it with me now and i know some what to do but help would be great, i have cut it back the the closest node so it will re-flower is that right?
It should help out when deciding what to do. It appears as if yours is in orchid bark, and it doesnt look to be breaking down, so you can leave it in there for a while, but you might want to consider a larger pot.
Just a few thoughts.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
