Anyone wanna guess the species of this Sarracenia?? I know what it is I'm just curious if anyone can guess it It is a true species so that should help narrow down the playing field. IMG_5238 by tagregory174, on Flickr IMG_5239 by tagregory174, on Flickr
goodkoaliesflguy you guys are right! It's a division of my S. oreophila "veined" from bucky78. It's surprising pale for being open as log as it has. The mother plant was showing pigmentation a few days after opening. This one has taken weeks. I wonder if it's due to being a recent division or that this division is in greenhouse conditions unlike the mother plant.

stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
