What a great display. My rubricorpora seem to be sulking this year, maybe 20% of them colored up while the rest just look like weakly colored ornata. I'm guessing it was the stress of our winter, hopefully next year I will be able to post a shot like this.

A bunch of my rubricorpora lost some color recently because I was away from my precious babies for 3 weeks on vacay during the driest part of our Summer and they didn't get watered enough (or maybe they just missed me). I'm hoping they will redden back up now that I'm quenching their thirst and staring at them for two to three hours a day
Great pics everyone! An overview shot of the collection: My well-fed B-52. I love this flytrap. It does nothing but thrive and put out monster red traps. purp venosa 'Red Ruffles' x other. Got this guy at CCs when it was really small, but it's grown up and really put on a show this year! Some nice mid summer pitchers on alata 'Night' x self. These are bigger than they look and August should see some even bigger traps coming out...
That is amazing! I bet you get a surreal feeling everytime youre in the garden. Id hate to be in charge of moving them.
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
