Gotsarrs those plants are magnificent! The red Franklin and the mutant dcxl are especially cool.
Thanks. Most mutated traps on fly traps are not that dramatic but every once in a while you can get a pretty cool one. A couple of years ago I had one where the petiole actually split into a Y and formed a perfect trap at each end of the Y.
Thought I had lost these bog flytraps over the harsh winter we had, but guess not. These are coming up from what was a couple mature adult plants in that spot last year (Big Mouth). Bog VFT, 5-2017 by Djoni C, on Flickr

stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
