Does this count as a tax deductable donation? If so, it would be great to check if employers match it. Some (like mine) do. It would be an easy way to increase the money that goes to the Nature Conservancy!
Yes, those who donated items are going to receive tax deducteable forms for the amount the item has brought in.
The individuals who were highest bidders are receiving items for their money, so it is considered a purchase.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
