Looking great NN and Sunbelle! Sunbelle you guys are WAY ahead of us here in Cali, even though we're three weeks early ourselves this year.
Here's an overview shot of part of the collection. Flava flowers!!!
S. flava var. maxima blooms with traps not far behind
We grow 'em big in Cali - here are my 7 foot tall Giant Flavas Flower on the left is cuprea BH, as is the left pitcher. Right flower is rugelii 403 but the pitchers on the right are Royal Ruby. Fortunately the huge trees in the background are to the north of the plants and don't shade them.
Last but not least, leuco HCW putting out a gang of buds - it only had one flower bud last year! Got this plant from Mike but it didn't have a clone letter. Identifying it is an ongoing project!
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
