Hello again! I have here some healthy, dormant rhizomes from my own collection that I would love to share with you. Everything here is grown outdoors year-round in the Southeast, U.S.Hardiness Zone 7. Shipping is through USPS and will be 12% of your total order or $12, whichever is greater. I can only ship within the U.S. Some of these plants will be well established, but I do have some recent winter ‘22 divisions listed. Dormant plants will be shipped bare root with leaves trimmed, save for a few exceptions that will be clear. I am happy to try and provide more info on any plants you see. I have had great success buying from folks on here and want you to feel comfortable and confident in your purchases from me too!
Size guide: small is 2+ years from flowering size, medium is at least one growth point near flowering size, large is at least one flowering size growth point, extra large is several flowering size growth points. Not an exact science, so reach out if you want more info.
Please inquire on the forum via PM or email me at steelyphil28 at gmail dot com to confirm plant availability and submit payment/shipping info. I can accept payment via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Some of the plants below will be cross listed on ebay soon. Sales open until March 2023.
Feel free to ask questions. Thanks and take care!
S. (flava x minor) x (leucophylla x courtii) (JA)– Complex hybrid with leuco traits. Photo from JA. S $30
S. alata Black Orgel's Orchids (Jeff Greene via Carson Trexler) recent divisions – Strong color in long, warm growing seasons for me. Unique lid shape and good red color under the lid and upper leaf. Please note that this fantastic clone has been labeled elsewhere as a parent of Phil F.’s Black Widow. To my knowledge, this is not accurate. I have another clone, alata Black Throat, from Calen Hall; this in turn was sourced directly from Phil and is supposed to be a parent of Black Widow. Regardless, this Orgel’s Orchids clone is a high quality plant in my collection. L $30, M $25, S $12, XS $10
S. alata Dark Streak x alata A28-MK clone D (Danny Powell) recent divisions – Heavily veined with black throat and underside of lid. Vigorous. L $45, M $30, S $15
S. alata Very Dark Cut Throat (UCD) recent divisions – Red exterior, bulbous, dark throat and lid. Extremely vigorous. XL $50, M $30, S $15
S. areolata AF pubescent (CH) recent divisions– Stunning shape, color, and fuzziness on this AF alata x AF leuco cross. L $25, M $20, S $15
S. courtii (purpurea ssp. venosa x psittacina) (CC) live pitchers intact – Vigorous, long lasting leaves. S $20
S. flava var. cuprea x flava var. rubricorpora (CC) – Begins season putting up leaves that color up like a flava cuprea. Transitions later in summer by making leaves colored like a flava rubricorpora. L $12
S. flava var. rugelii Extreme Red Throat (MW) – Wonderful throat splotch. L $15
S. Hank (SNW) – Red hybrid from Sarracenia Northwest. Funky lip shape potential. M $15
S. purpurea Veinless (CH) live pitchers intact – Green pitchers that transition to yellowish gold. Long lasting leaves. Sourced directly from CH. S $20
S. Reptilian Rose (Jeff Greene via Carson Trexler) recent divisions – Classic Phil F. cultivar. L $50, S $30
