Here's a cross I made almost 10 years ago! The seedlings were totally neglected, and all of them died off except one plant! I guess you can say this one went through natural selection, albeit in a very un-natural manner!
The lids stay coppery as the trap ages, and the plant grows with ridiculous vigor! This is a great beginner plant as well as something for experienced growers who are looking for a clone that looks like an improved version of S. flava var. cuprea! It doesn't rot easily like Lois clone....in fact, lots of the offspring were very rot prone, but this one was growing in the same tray and it survived overwatering all winter long, while the rest perished!
These were just divided last winter and the plant looked horrible from neglect, but after babying it all season long, they are now in tip top shape and growing strong! S. flava var. cuprea (Lois x Botanique) 'select', pics taken 7/27/22:

iona: Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had extra Pinguicula grandiflora plants or seeds to spare, and they are so difficult to get in the US but think it’d be a great addition to my big garden.
