Hello my name is Michael Wolfe. I grow a bunch of carnivorous plants I’ve been doing for about a year and 1/2 so I’m still pretty new. Hoping to learn a bunch here. My favorites are sarracenia but I also really like vfts. I have about 50 carnivorous plants right now. I also pretty much grow exclusively carnivorous plants (I have one orchid that I acquired from someone who was having issues keeping it alive). I found something with carnivorous plants that maybe people here can understand, but the average person doesn’t. There is a tranquility to keeping these plants and I care about them very much. In the short time I’ve been doing this I’ve learned not just about the plants and their needs but also the environment science and nature in general. Very excited to learn here and hopefully become better at the hobby!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
