Here are some very interesting purpureas that have excellent vigor and can produce massive sized clumps over time! I'm personally loving the intense red coloration, and shape-wise, they're all very similar overall, with some slight variations. A few individuals have amazing green "lids" with heavy red veins on the interior, but that's probably an environmental characteristic. One individual had yellow coloration instead of green on the interior of the lid! I've seen this characteristic before in either the huron or wellington Co, ON population.
These are my mother plants, and this post is here to document them over time, so I'll keep this updated as the years progress. S. purpurea ssp. purpurea Centre Co, PA, pics taken mostly on 6/21/21:

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
