Hello my name is Louis and I'm new to the forum! Found some funny looking plants while hunting in the woods a couple years ago and once realizing they were carnivorous plants It really grabbed hold of me and now I have a decent collection of Sarracenia and various other flytraps and sundews. I'm a sponge for great information that I can put to use and this seems to be a great place. If anyone else is in the same general area of Florida it would be cool to see how someone a little more advanced keep their plants in my area!
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
