We've had a TON of rain here and that combined with my iffy conditions things aren't looking their best but I was able to find a few good looking pitchers.

Now, calen grew this bad boy out from seed and told me it puts out some big ol' pitchers in OR and said it should be killer here in FL. Well, for the first few months it was pretty average but once Summer hit this thing exploded! Even with the horrible weather we've had it's performing well for its first year.

sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
