Hello all, I'm a newer grower from East Tennessee who's taken the plunge into Sarracenia. I'm starting to build a somewhat decent collection, with a recent addition of a nice sized flava rubicorpora rhizome. I plan to start making my own crosses and "best clones" of plants in the coming years.
My story began about March of last year, when I some how stumbled upon the existence of Darlingtonia online. Being a reptile enthusiast, the fact that it looked like a snake fascinated me, so I took to the internet to learn more about carnivorous plants. Almost a year later, I have over 50 plants, and only more to come.
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
