Virginia will be the place to visit in the next month. Our friend Rob S. at Botanique is hosting one of his very rare open houses while we have three upcoming events as follows. Watch our FB page for more details.
1. Plant sale at Greensprings Garden Park, Fall Garden Day, on Saturday 9/21 from 9-3 in Alexandria, VA.
2. "Celebration of the White-tops" at Meadowview headquarters, 8390 Fredericksburg Tnpk., Woodford, VA on Saturday 10/12, 10-4. Plants available for sale, music, art by Siru Curzon, and music by Rich and Siru Curzon. Tours of our Central VA Preserve and the northern-most native pitcher plant bog in Virginia.
3. "Conefest". 10/19, 10-4 at the Center for Biodiversity at Joseph Pines Preserve, 22515 Cabin Point Rd., Disputanta, VA 23842. Tours of our southern VA headquarters and propagation facilities, longleaf pine basket weaving class (limited to 10 people, $45/person, due 10/5), and Joseph Pines Preserve. A celebration of the harvest of our native Virginia longleaf pine cones for on-site restoration.
Hope to see you at one of these events.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
