A few years ago I got this plant at a BACPS raffle. Unfortunately, the original label only read "Sarracenia rubra" to the best of my memory, and apparently "clone". The original label is nigh unreadable now:
I've since flipped the label so whatever's left is still "readable". Better late than never?
The tallest pitchers this year are 19"/48 cm tall. It reminds me a little of very large S. alabamensis subsp. wherryi but I am not very familiar with the S. rubra complex.

19” is a bit tall for wherryi but it’s about right for alabamensis. This plant resembles the TC rubra that was going around about 10 years ago - a plant that was definitely alabamensis. Can’t know for sure without original info though - I’d stick with ”rubra ssp. ?”
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
