Photographed the F out of this clone, and it's impossible to capture just how enormous these heads are, but here's some more pics for the sake of getting this thing fully documented. Pics taken 10/18/20:
Morbidly obese:I feel like this clone could rot at anytime if I feed it anymore!
Holy Toledo, have you taken measurements of this thing? Seems like it's bigger than the biggest wild psitt Barry Rice has ever seen... if you click through these three slides he says that the heads on that plant were 2.2 inches tall, but it looks like yours might be bigger than that! www.sarracenia.com/trips/fl032010/im43.html

If measuring it the way Barry did, then yes, my biggest trap most likely exceeds 2.2 inches. the picture he took suggests the measurement accounts for the curvature of the trap, not just "linear inches."
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
