Wow! I had no idea this clone could get so RED! Some of you were lucky enough to snap divisions up of this clone last year, and I'm curious to see how the plant is doing for you all. Feel free to post pics here!
Overall, this clone is pretty fast growing and easy to cultivate. The shape of the mouth makes this plant stand out from the crowd....or so I thought! Now that the red color is very well pronounced, perhaps this clone will be better recognized for its color! As many of you know, if you see this much red on a newly developing trap, that typically translates into an even deeper red color as the trap ages! More pics to come in the future.
S. leucophylla RED 'Oval Mouth' Franklin Co, FL, photos taken 8/20/17. I love how the white pigments against the red background vary in circular to square to amoeba-like in shape:
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
