Doh! Lost track of this thread and didn't see the questions until now. Cpbobby, I'm pretty sure that ornata is Mike's Improved Black Veins. I can't confirm now because everything is STILL dormant! April 8 and just a few flava flower buds coming up. We had snow yesterday and it's currently 26 degrees F.
Jdallas, the trays aren't really flood trays, as they all drain. So, level isn't a concern and there is a pitch, grade to everything, though it's slight. There are areas where just red clay is under the weed cloth, but many areas have been top-dressed with gravel dust, which gets tamped. We get moles once in awhile, but the hard soil, lack of any food means they don't hang around. The weed cloth paths have been walked on for decades; the soil is like concrete when it's dry!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
