Hello everyone! The Southeastern Carnivorous Plant Society is having its inaugural meeting this Sunday (June 4th) at 2:00 at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Birmingham, AL. Facebook is where it was originally posted, if you're not on Facebook and are interested in attending, shoot me a PM and I'll get you the details on it! This meeting is a casual meet up to discuss society goals, logistics, trade / sell plants, etc... If you're able to come (sorry this is so last minute) we would love to have you.
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
