I have a few different plants with pitchers in the 24"-27" range already this season, but my Alucard is putting up the tallest pitcher so far. Doreen's Colossus first pitcher just starting to crack open. Under the lid shot of Black Widow. Into the abyss of Reptilian Rose. Is it just me or does anyone else find that the insects seem to prefer to feed on Reptilian Rose nectar. My Reptilian Rose pitchers are always the quickest to fill up and get trashed by the bugs. Florida Gypsy. In my collection traps open a bright blood red and quickly darken under the intense sun. In my opinion it's a underrated clone if you like dark plants. In this photo you can see two younger pitchers to the left that still have more of the bright red color while the darker pitcher in the center of the frame is a couple of weeks older.
stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
