A few years ago Calen and I were fortunate enough to meet Leah Wilkerson in person and she let us look around on her beautiful property. Without a burn in more than 15 years the bog was getting very overgrown. Calen and I decided to take on the responsibility of clearing out the bog with Leah's permission. She gifted me this clone along with a few others as thanks for helping her out with the bog. You may be wondering why I named the clone "Elvis Wilkerson" so here is how it got that name. On our second visit with Leah she had just gotten back from working out and she was wearing her workout clothes and a fabulous pair of socks with Elvis Presley on them. I commented on her socks and she told us how much she adored Elvis and that she went to many of his concerts. In tribute to this love of hers I named this gifted clone "Elvis Wilkerson". The clone also has a curled lip like Elvis on many of its pitchers and a hood that looks like his pompadour hairdo! I love this clone!!!
Up for bidding is a small division of S. "Elvis Wilkerson" which is a stand out in my collection. It's a very robust grower and gets some nice coloring to it. It puts out pitchers all year round and has the potential to get 'Leah Wilkerson' big! Here is a pic of some summer pitchers of the mother plant last year:
Here are some pics of the division that you are bidding on:
This fabulous clone won't be offered again for quite some time. This division will be large before you know it and will be a stand out in your collection! Bidding is open to anyone in the Continental United States. I will pay for Priority Shipping via USPS once the payment has been made. Bid Bid Bid!!! If the price goes past $100 I will include another Sarr from Leah's Brother in-law, Bud Wilkerson, as a freebie!

Update to the item has been made and if you are the high bidder at this point and would like to retract your bid after seeing the updated info and pics you are more than welcome to do so within the next 24 hrs. Personally, I would pay way more than $50 for the division though

The winner of this auction will also be getting a freebie small division of the best clone of 'Leah Wilkerson' x 'Adrian Slack' that I've ever made. It's one of my favorites right now. The colors on this clone are unreal and that white really pops. It is a very vigorous and tall grower and this division should be a show stopper in your collection in only a few years. Here are a few pics of the mother plant. This year the motherplant is already sending up 20 pitchers. It's going to be a beautiful sight! :

stu: Hi Mike: I’m pleased to report that the S. rubra wherryi Chatom Giant you sent has arrived in great shape as did the bonus plant from NC. Both are now back under southern skies and are feeling warm, humid, and at home again. Thanks!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
