Been a while, but I have been snooping and increasing my presence on the forum this year (and last year I made it snow a few days )
Anyway, the forum auction has always been a success, but due to time constraints, if we are to have an auction this year I cannot do it alone! I am looking for a few volunteers to be temporary moderators of the auction (or permanent moderators on the forum!).
All you need to do to be able to participate is 1. Have free time in February and March to moderate the auction 2. Be on the forum at least once a day to check on activity 3. Must have been on the forum for over a year (long enough to see last years auction).
There is no age requirement, and I am looking for a good group of people who truly want to make the auction better. If this is you please feel free to send me a PM. Also, if anyone has any ideas for the auction please list them below.
Some ideas I had were to push the auction back a little, maybe into mid March, since last year many people were worried plants they were auctioning off wouldn't make it into the new year. Shipping in such frigid cold was also a concern, but if we push it back so shipping can occur end of March/Early April, plants will still be dormant, or just coming out of dormancy, and it wont be too cold to ship. Again, there are lots of things to discuss, and I really do want to have another awesome auction this year, so lets get the ball rolling!
Creator of the forums! Yeah, I know I was away for a while, but I am back!!!

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
