I posted my art in the introduction thread a while back, but never got around to making a topic here. Most of my sarracenia-based work has been surreal stuff without much thought for real-life sarracenia anatomy:
And some pixel art:
I've also created a few carnivorous creatures based on flowers:
Most recently, I painted a still life of my Judith Hindle:
For my next project, I'd like to paint a much larger painting of wild alabamensis based on photos I took in Autauga County. After that, I may return to surrealism, with plants that more closely resemble actual species. Thanks for viewing.
Dang impressive, you have a gift for sure. I'm with cpbobby though; while I appreciate the Georgia O'Keefe/Robert Williams lovechild vibe in the first paintings (ok, maybe not the best analogy, but my frame o' reference for art is pretty limited) it's your still life that holds my attention.
My amateur critiquing aside, you truly have a gift.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
