that's some serious frost. I can't compete with that. Where's rmeyer at though?
Truth be told........I packed up all my plants, put them in bins (no lids) and tucked them in for the winter. They're in my garage. Winters here are serious business and not fit for wimpy sarracenia.......haha. So, I'm out for 'frost pics'......sorry. Did, however, get me a new Nikon DSLR........should make for some fabulous pics in the spring.
I think Jonathan has to be the nicest New Yorker I've ever known! And my Dad's whole side of the family is from there lol!
Truth be told sflguy we are having nothing but rain rain rain here - no frost in sight - so I'm out for the month too

Oh, we've had some snows here already, let alone frost; ironic it his 60 today, and will be even warmer tomorrow, go figure CO. But, my plants were moved inside before anything serious hit and all my last pics of the year are from October and November; if permission is given I'll post them in here since I'm only getting around to my online updates now (it's been a looooonnng fall) otherwise they'll show up in my other threads eventually.
Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that do.
Fantastic, eric! Does the lid remain whiter than the body / mouth?
So far. These are older pitchers...probably the last for the season too. Funny because i was really unimpressed with this batch of seedlings. I kept them around anyway and this one put on a show this year. Glad i kept them.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
