I am a member of another forum-type thingie on facebook, and an interesting discussion popped up...To date, what is the most devestating pest you have encountered with your orchids?giá quả óc chó Im just being curious, as some of the answers to the facebook pole were quite humourous!

Rabbits ate my cephalotus and ate the flower stalk off. This maybe does not count for a pest but a bad storm destroyed all my nepenthes and many other CPS .It was picked up by the wind and thrown way out on a golf course and smashed all my plants up;) I was actually chasing my green house in the storm as it blew away. Awsome!
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
