It pays to be a member of the ICPS, especially when you live in a "CP desert" as I do, in central Illinois. With one of the best species being highly restricted, I take advantage of the seed bank. I'm hoping for some nice specimens down the road from this batch of seedlings, which are ready for transplanting...
UPDATE: Only partially transferred, 48 plants so far out of this one square of seedlings. Going forward, one whole growing bench will be dedicated to Sarracenia seedlings only, moving some Nepenthes elsewhere. Most of these transfers now have four plants per container.
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
