Daaaamn Mike! Looking just amazing, as usual. One day I will have a mass of these babies a la Wang and John Hummer I swear! Such an incredible display. Here's my clone F these days. For whatever reason it kinda held out on me the last 2 seasons and didn't produce a really crazy fall show, but this year it is going nuts! I think it needed some time to establish and probably benefited from the larger pot I put it in this spring. Any who, first pic taken about a week ago as fall trape still inflating. Note the late summer "pre-fall" traps that are pretty darn nice but not quite as robust as the true fall crop coming in close on their heels: The fall traps, pics taken today. Blinding, bulbous, and pushing 30". Not bad! The copper blush can be very prominent on fresh traps, but fades in a week or so.
clone F doesn't usually produce very white traps during the spring for me, but I guess there's always surprises. I left most of the old pitchers on from last year, that might have something to do with it. Photos taken 4/7/16:

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
