LOL Calen! I have this monster in a tiny 3.5" pot, and it probably should have gone into a 6" Hopefully I'll be able to get a good picture of it in a few months when the entire thing turns bright red. Some of these red clones become even darker red later in the season...they're almost unbelievable!
So my leucos are way early this year - none had significant traps open until the second week of September in 2013, but this past week a couple of really nice pitchers opened with many, many more on the way! Here is the first trap on WRR - it's going to look even better in a week or two when all the traps are open...
Here is my WRR as of today. I got this guy from Mike only last winter and it has done phenomenally for me so far. It put out a couple nice spring pitchers too, which is always a nice bonus on a leuco clone. Overall I'd say this is the finest leuco in my collection at the current time, judged on size, color, shape, and vigor. These pitchers are about 24" - I know it will get a lot bigger with time and when it's not shoehorned into a 4" pot LOL! There's one more pitcher hiding back there: Love this plant
The large spring pitchers on my WRR have colored up really well in the past few weeks. The plant has really established nicely since I got it from Mike in winter 2013. The pitcher on the left is 32.5 inches tall - whereas last season's fall pitchers were only 24". Needless to say I'm looking forward to this year's fall crop. I have heard this clone can hit 36" in the fall and I don't doubt that for a second!
I noticed Calen's plant was "early" last year and had traps around mid to late August. Well, these traps opened up about a week ago (first week of August)! Never seen leucophylla WRR produce traps this early, photos taken 8/7/15:
sanguinearocks101: What are good plants to make hybrids with S. luecophylla with? Im looking for dark colors.

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
