Leucophylla 'Drummond's Giant' just put out the biggest pitcher its made for me yet. Got it last year as a small single division, and it looked like a nice Leuco, but was expecting more... not too worried if this is its first pitcher of the year!!
The first Sarracenia in my collection to send up a flower in 2015 goes to....it's a tie.....Sarracenia Flava (cinnamon sticks) and Sarracenia Flava (Don's Flava).....now the paranoid watching begins....is the freeze going to be too cold? Will my dog chase off the birds?will I go mad and get locked in a padded room before I can pollenate them?

adaetz100: Sarracenia purpurea tends to add a lot of red/purple to its offspring, but there are some lovely dark red flava x leucophylla crosses too. Look up 'Royal Ruby' if you're not familiar with it already--it's a natural flava x leuco hybrid
