This is S. flava var. maxima Cartaret Co., NC #F27 Mike describes this as a neon yellow-green and he is right - it's hard to capture it with my camera phone, but the color is great! Very nice shape as well:
Earlier this week I received all sorts of awesome, top quality, plants from Mike. I may have went a bit crazy ordering, but it is always well worth it! Thanks again, meizzwang!
All the pots along the closest side of the water table are the plants I got (the large pot is from a previous order), plus a few others that are in the second and third row. Please excuse the sulking pitchers, we got a lot of rain last night. Water Table Overview by Adam B., on Flickr
So I originally told myself that I wasn't going to order from Mike until next year but after seeing all of the pictures of his plants on this thread I just couldn't wait until then. So I decided to place my first order with him last week and wow he has some really healthy plants. Two thumbs up for Mike in everything he did with this process. He was able to put up with my back and forth decisions and answered every question I had. The shipping was great and the plants arrived in great condition. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for great quality sarracenia. Here is what I ordered:
Left: Flava Ornata 'improved black viens' Middle: Leuco Hurricane Creek White Clone A Right: HCW Clone A Freebie!!!

summit: Hey guys, I'm about to sow some seeds and I was curious to know what everyone thinks 'too hot' for Sarracenia seeds would be? Having them in the dome bumps up the temps a bit.

DirtyDivisions: summit I’ve been fine at a constant 95° F under the dome. Once the tiny seedlings have two pitchers I remove the dome and temps go down.

summit: @dirtydivisions Thanks for that! I'm sitting around 87-88F with the dome fully sealed but I wasn't doing that and sacrificing humidity to keep it cooler but I'll go ahead and close it down now!

mikee: Thanks you chofah, there is a great video from The Pitcher Project with Phil Faulisi this was what I was looking for. However it still appears to be wait and see what results come from the cross. Many thanks

Willy: It would be rather silly to expect totally predictable results from a cross. The individual plants grown from the seeds will vary, sometimes quite a bit, even with carefully protected hand pollination. If you open polinate, the variety may be even greater.
